Big Ideas,

Real Impact.

Claire Bouchard, Founder

Building stronger communities through collaboration, strategy, and storytelling.

For two decades, Claire has partnered with local governments, nonprofits, businesses, philanthropy, and community leaders to strengthen communities through collaboration, strategic communications, and regional partnerships.

Her work has included community engagement, public relations, disaster recovery, homelessness, affordable housing, philanthropy, regional initiatives, and economic opportunity; always centered on helping people come together around shared challenges, and shared possibilities.

I believe every community has unique strengths worth celebrating and shared challenges worth solving together.

My life's work has been helping steward the places and partnerships that allow communities to thrive, for today's neighbors and for generations to come.

Communities are constantly changing.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of helping communities in each of these moments.

Sometimes they are responding to crisis.

Sometimes they are rebuilding.

Sometimes they have the opportunity to imagine what's next.

Respond

Helping communities through urgent challenges.

Recover

Building partnerships that strengthen resilience.

Reimagine

Creating shared visions for stronger communities.

I love watching people discover they can accomplish something together that they couldn't accomplish alone.

Work That Reflects My Purpose

Featured Highlights

Whether leading regional initiatives, responding to community challenges, or launching new partnerships, Claire is driven by a deep commitment to people, place, and lasting impact.

Explore My Story

Claire is one of five daughters who was raised on a small farm in rural Connecticut. She was a 4-H member, peer leader, and student athlete during her formative years.

For nearly a decade, she was a military wife, and mother to three children, moving every year or two around the country and abroad.

In her late 30’s Claire returned to college while working full time in public schools and raising her family. Upon college graduation, she dove into the communications field and was honored to serve in the City of Fort Collins Communication Office for many years.

Along the way, the entrepreneurial spirit called to her, and she formed a creative and communications consulting firm serving local governments and nonprofits across Colorado.

Claire transitioned to community impact work shortly before COVID and truly found her place. Serving nonprofits, donors, and community partners by convening critical work groups and leadership teams through difficult times was her sweet spot.

The Community of Foundation of Northern Colorado, (now the NoCo Foundation) needed a well-connected and trusted partner to expand their impact work in 2022. Claire joined the leadership team and for three years increased the Foundation’s work and elevated its brand through several nonprofit engagement, local government partnerships, strategic communications initiatives, and thought leadership projects.

Looking Ahead:

Currently, Claire is excited to be on the Northern Colorado Trade Mission team with her colleagues at the NoCo Foundation. Gathering regional leaders for an annual Trade Mission trip, plus before and after leadership engagement, creates long-lasting relationships and new initiatives that will contribute to the community’s thriving future – which is right up her alley!

Leading with Purpose

Claire believes leadership extends beyond professional work. She remains actively engaged in civic and nonprofit leadership because the strongest communities are built by people willing to contribute their time, expertise, and relationships.

Let’s Start a Conversation

My work has taught me that communities are stronger than they often realize. When people come together around shared purpose, remarkable things can happen. I'd love to learn about your community, your ideas, and the future you're working to create.
